Thịt dưa hấu vàng tươi, thơm nhẹ, ngọt dịu, ít hạt, cắn vào thấy ngập nước, không chảy nước như các loại dưa hấu đỏ thông thường. Trọng lượng quả nặng trung bình 3 - 4 kg\/quả.
